This is a sharing about making wishes and abundance essential oil. Grateful for the compassion of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas. Amitabha.
At the end of October 2023, I was still worried about raising money (about 26,000) for Yuan Ji Men. At that time, my only employee went on study leave to prepare for his ACCA exam in December, taking a month off to study. So, besides worrying about money, I was also concerned about the lack of manpower.
My close friends Shawn, Stephanie, Stella, and Cloris encouraged me to sincerely make a vow to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, believing that sincerity brings results. Although I understood this, I was still a bit anxious because it was hard for me to believe that I could solve my current problems within 2-3 weeks (by November 18). Stephanie repeatedly told me that miracles would happen. I appreciated her kind words but didn’t know what else to say. After a few days of thinking, I clarified my wishes and the efforts I was willing to make to achieve them.
I wrote down four wishes, two of which were:
- To successfully enroll in Yuan Ji Men at the price of 7,800 SGD by November 18.
- To find a quality employee to join my accounting firm by the end of the year.
The efforts I was willing to make included reciting the Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva’s Original Vows Sutra three times a week, dedicating the merit to my creditors and debtors, hoping they would resolve their grievances, escape suffering, and be reborn in the Western Pure Land to become Buddhas.
Less than a week after making the vow, someone contacted me on WhatsApp asking if I was still hiring. This person had asked me in September but had canceled the interview at the last minute. I didn’t think much of it, but since she could come for an interview, it was another opportunity for me. I had arranged a written test, and only those who scored over 30 out of 50 would proceed to the next stage.
During the test, she answered very quickly, and when I graded it, I found she had the highest score of any candidate I had interviewed. I was very happy and continued to discuss her expectations. Before the interview ended, I offered her the salary she wanted and sent her the offer letter half an hour later. She considered it for two days and agreed to join my company, starting on November 6, less than 10 days after I made the vow. I am truly grateful for the blessings of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.
With her help, I was able to complete many clients’ work quickly and had extra time to meet potential new clients. During this period, friends also introduced new clients to me, and we successfully closed deals. I remember that the new client was finalized on the first day I placed an abundance essential oil bottle at home. Our meeting went smoothly, and she was satisfied with my price. She signed the quotation I issued that day, and I received her deposit the next day.
A few days later, a business partner I had been negotiating with asked me to go to JB, saying he had a client to introduce to me. After arranging my work, I drove to JB on the Monday night of the Deepavali holiday. It was quite a traffic jam, and I arrived at 1:30 AM. I won’t go into the details of the JB trip, but the result was that my business partner gave me a five-figure project, with the deposit expected between November 20-24, 2023.
From early November to November 18, the company’s receipts were 150% of the usual monthly amount. On the 17th, I registered for Yuan Ji Men with the teacher’s assistant, with 4,000 SGD still unpaid, waiting for the approval of two credit cards applied for at the beginning of the month. The teacher also said on the 18th that we could have an additional two weeks to pay the balance, until December 2.
These three weeks have been a great encouragement and confidence boost for me. I will share the remaining wishes and follow-up later. Finally, I want to thank my supportive friends Shawn, Stephanie, Stella, Cloris, my capable new employee Ke Yin, and the compassionate Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva. ❤❤❤

感恩佛菩萨慈悲。阿弥陀佛。🙏🙏🙏
在2023年10月尾时，我还在为筹钱（约26千）上元极门而烦恼。当时我公司唯一的员工去了study leave，因为他12月要考acca，所以拿了1个月的假期好好准备。所以除了在烦恼钱的问题以外，我也在想如何解决人手不足的问题。
当时我的几位挚友文翔(Shawn), Stephanie, Stella和Cloris鼓励我诚心地向佛菩萨许愿，心诚则灵。我虽然明白，但还是有点忐忑不安，因为对我来说要在2-3个星期内（11月18号前）解决目前的问题自己都是有点难以相信的。Stephanie好几次和我说会有奇迹发生的，我除了感谢她的一番好意，也不知道可以说些什么。我想了几天，明确自己要达成的心愿，和愿意为达成心愿所付出的努力。
我当时写下了4个心愿，其中2个是：
1. 能在11月18日前用7800新币的价格成功报名元极门
2. 在今年年尾找到优质的员工进来我的会计楼一起发展
而我愿意为达成心愿所付出的努力则是每个星期念诵3次地藏菩萨本愿经，把功德回响给我的怨亲债主，希望他们早日解怨解结，脱离苦海，往生西方极乐世界去作佛。
许愿不到1个星期，就有人在whatsapp联系我，问我还有没有请人。这个人其实在9月的时候曾经有问过我，然后在我们要面试的时候却又突然放飞机，我也没有想太多，既然她能够来面试，对我来说就是多一次的机会。我是有安排笔试的，超过30分（满分50分）我才会继续问其他的问题，不然我就不会继续下去了。
在笔试作答的时候，她作答速度很快，在改答案时候，发现她是由始以来，分数最高的被面试者。当时我很开心，也继续和她聊她希望在这里拿到什么东西，在面试结束前我就给她开了她想要的薪资，半小时后我又把offer letter发给她了。她考虑了2天，答应了来我公司上班，当时她上班的第一天是11月6日，距离我许下愿望还不到10天，真的很感谢佛菩萨保佑。
在她的帮助下，我也能持续的以很快的速度完成很多客户的工作，并且还有多余的时间能够去见一些潜在的新客户。而这段时间也有朋友介绍新顾客给我，见面后顺利成交。记得这个新顾客是我在弄abundance 精油水瓶放在家里的第一天就成交的。我们见面时都顺利，而她对我的价格也满意，我当天出的quotation她就签回来了，第二天就收到她给的定金了。
在隔几天后，我之前谈着合作的生意伙伴就叫我下去jb，说有客户要介绍给我。我当时安排好工作后就在deepavali holiday那个星期一晚上下到jb。当时晚上下去是蛮塞车的，从晚上8点驾车到那里时已经是凌晨1点半了。这趟jb trip的细节我就不一一描述了，最后的结果是生意伙伴给了我一个五位数的项目，定金预计会在20-24.11.23 进来。
在11月头至11月18日这段时间，公司收款是平时月份的150%，在17号当天和老师的助理报名了元极门，剩下4000新币还没付，目前在等着2张这个月头申请的信用卡通过。老师也在18号当天说可以给我们多2个星期把尾款付完，截至在12月2日。
这3个星期的经历，对我来说是很大的鼓励和信心。剩下的愿望和后续，之后我会再分享给大家知道。最后，再一次感谢一路支持和鼓励我的战友们文翔(Shawn), Stephanie, Stella, Cloris，我的得力助手——新员工Ke Yin，还有大慈大悲的阿弥陀佛，观世音菩萨和地藏王菩萨。❤❤❤
